| Summary: | The existence of the correction factor is important to accommodate the
things that may cause any errors in the field or in calculation of standing volume.
This research aims to calculate the correction factor and firewood figures, also
analyses the influencing factors.
The research was conducted on each BH in KPH Purwodadi, Perum
Perhutani Unit I, Central Java. The correction factor and firewood figures were
determined by the actual volume from Definitive Report of KPH and the
estimated volume from PDE-10 (Cutting Plan Overview by Time and Place) over
the last ten years (2003-2012). The correction factor has been calculated weighted
average over ten years by comparing the actual volume with the estimated volume
for total A.2 harvest. Firewood figures have been obtained from the ratio between
the firewood volume (Sm) and wooden utensils volume (m3).
