Summary: | This research aims at depicting the form of masculinization of homosexual by using
body and organization as the political tools against masculine hegemony in Tristan Garcias
romance La Meilleure Part des Hommes. Masculine tends to refer to heterosexual male while
considers homosexual male not as the part of its hegemony. The homosexual male become
the subversion of the heteronormativity that works within society. There are two groups of
masculine, the first is masculine hegemony. In Garcias romance, this group is represented by
the heterosexual male, whereas the second one is masculine subordinate which is represented
by those who do not belong to the heteronormativity, like homosexual male. In his romance
La Meilleure Part des Hommes, Garcia wrote that homosexual are able to strive for their
rights against the oppressions from the homophobia and the AIDS issue that corner their
position. Heteronormativity believes that body is the shaper of gender and the homosexual
