Summary: | The result of world development is enhancement demand of quality and
skilled labor. The aim of the research is to find out high condition by noticing
teacher quantity, student quantity, participation rate, school infrastructure,
national exam grade, graduation rate, and drop out rate.
This Research is using data SIPD Sleman Regency section education year
2012. Research area is in Sleman Regency. Data analysis uses descriptive method
to study education trend and condition, and added by data and interview result
from government office of Education, Youth, and Sport.
The result showing that teacher and student ratio in Sleman Regency is
lower than national ratio. Thus because surplus of teacher quantity in Sleman
Regency. Education participation rate is below 60 percent because people at the
secondary education choose to pick high school outside of Sleman Regency.
National exam grade of secondary education is droping, but graduation rate is
higher after year before. School infrastructure in Depok sub-district is higher than
the other sub-district. Education policy in Sleman Regency each sub-district
determined by the quantity of students
