High bit rate and low bit error rate are needed for various kinds of information, both voice and data can get to the receiver, while the bandwidth is a limited resource and should be used efficiently. DAB is a solution to fixed the problem. With DAB systems, multiple radio stations can use a channel at the same frequency with the OFDM transmission. ed This study assess the quality of reception on DAB broadcasting system, which is related to the influence of gain, Doppler, and additive Gaussian white noise (Additive White Gaussian Noise, AWGN) to the bit error rate. The method used is simulation with MATLAB Simulink software 7.10.0 (R2010a). reception DAB quality is measured based on BER on a Rayleigh and AWGN channel with Doppler shift. In testing the influence of gain on BER for the point closest to the transmitter (point A), the broken bits can be corrected with a gain of 30 dB. Meanwhile, to the furthest point to the transmitter (point E), the broken bits can be corrected with a gain of 80 dB. In testing the influence of Doppler on BER for point C, the gain set at 45 dB. When the Doppler frequency is 10 Hz (equivalent to a speed of 48 km/h), BER value is 0.182431. When the Doppler frequency is 40 Hz (equivalent to a speed of 192 km/h), BER value is 0.275251. In testing the influence of AWGN on BER, while SNR at 0 dB, BER value is 0.480562. When SNR raised to 10 dB, the broken bits can be corrected (BER equal to zero). Based on research obtained the following results. The greater the value of gain and SNR quality DAB reception is getting better. Meanwhile, the greater the value of Doppler DAB reception quality is getting worse.
