| Summary: | Yogyakarta is famous a tourism city. Various tourist attractions are located in
Yogyakarta which attract the tourists from inside and outside Indonesia. Several
benefits come out from this sector which made the government incessantly
develop the existing tourism potential.
This graduating paper aims to identify, appraise, and describe the potential of
Kampung Code Romo Mangun as a tourist attraction using SWOT to analyse
several actions that can be done to optimize those potentials. For collecting the
data the writer uses four methods to conduct the research: observation, interview,
library research, internet research. This paper is expected to be helpful and useful
particularly for local people and the development of tourism sector in Yogyakarta.
In conclusion, Kampung Code Romo Mangun has a great tourism potential to
develop despite the deficiencies. The result of the research will show
representation of the matters that can be done to optimize all the potentials as the
better future of Kampung Code Romo Mangun as a tourist attraction.
