Based on the condition, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) release language standard to describe class and relation between any object within both web document and web application, that is Web Ontology Language (OWL). Protégé is an open source platform developed by Stanford Center for Biomedical informatics Research at the Stanford University School of Medicine which implementing groups of knowledge modeling structure and development tool to help, such as ontology manipulation and any visualation based on ontology created. Protégé usability as a OWL Ontology Platform ease to map schematic diagram of heterogeneous distributed database. Ontology based Semantic used to eradicate the conflict possibility between object related, as used on heterogeneous database system between eNCORE System and CCIS which based on Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL respectively. Ontology based semantic integration structuring the Global Domain Schema to maintain data integrity while class name, property name, and type property matching result minimum difference. Otherwise, abbreviation on both classname and propertyname which both has same meaning between compared database resulted maximum difference. |
