Summary: | The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in
education is a must. Even the design of the curriculum in 2013, noted that ICT
becomes a learning tool and must be integrated into all subjects. This is in line
with the UNESCO policy since 2004 has been designing and developing an
integrated ICTbased
curriculum especially for science, math and language
course. This based on the success of the ICT in Schools and SchoolNet Project in
ASEAN Setting. It is said that the use of ICT in schools in an integrated way,
contributes to the improvement of the quality of learning.
This study aims to measure the level of acceptance of the integration of
ICT in learning by junior high school English teacher in Gunungkidul. The model
used is the simplified of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of
Technology (UTAUT). The data were collected by questionnaire, and analyzed
using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS version 2.0
M3 software.
The results indicated that the level of acceptance of English teachers to
integrate ICT in learning is at a high level. The factors that affect teachers'
intention to integrate ICT in learning is performance expectations, effort
expectancy, and social influences. The factors that affect the real integration of
ICT is facilitating conditions which explain the variance up to 62.71%. Whereas
behavioral intentions is not significant because it is only able to explain the
variance of 16.25%.
