Psychoanalysis Studies� is describe the main antagonist character analysis of aspects of
personality. My Way was chosen as the object of research due to the adaptation of the true story
that showcases the various events and conflicts on the battlefield so as to affect the personality
of the main character villain, Tatsuo.
Analysis of the personality of the character done in a descriptive approach to
psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud and used the theory of structuralism to find personality of
character in this film. The theory of Structuralism is used to find out who is the main character
and the subordinate character in this film, as well as how each figure characterizations. After
knowing who the main character is and how the personality, continued with their approach of
psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud. Approach to psychoanalysis of the id, ego, and superego is
used to describe the personality of the main character and the dynamics among these three
aspects of the id, ego, and superego. Analysis of film My Way is also by describe the conflicts
experienced by the main character with his father, his friends and a conflict in itself as well as
the factors causing the conflict.
The analyzed in this paper obtained a conclusion that conflicts and events experienced
by antagonist character Tatsuo on the battlefield that gives huge influence to change the
personality of Tatsuo. |
