Therefore, the effectiveness of learning outcomes and the need to develop 3D educational game for children aged 4 to 6 years compared to learning with the help of 2D educational games learning method or conventional learning method are needed to know. The method is designed by developing 3D educational game to recognize letters and numbers. This method is compared to the existing 2D educational game and conventional learning to 91 respondents in kindergarten. Data obtained from the learning evaluation of the respondents consist of 20 kinds material related to literacy and numeracy as well as 5 types of responses of the respondents in the form of interest, consistency, music background interest, animation interest, and the ability to play 3D educational game. Data is then analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. The result show that 3D educational game learning method has the best effectiveness compared to the two other methods in alphabet and number, but the development of educational game in 3D are suitable for learning number not in alphabet.
