| Summary: | The development of computer technology and electronics very rapidly at
this time makes people start looking for other solutions to perform activities easier
and more practical. Technologies are developed and can be used at this time it is
possible to facilitate the activities of human beings to operate the TV with finger
gesture.
In this research, resolved using digital image processing. Digital image
processing is one of the technology can be used to operate the TV using a webcam
and computer as image processing. Then the image is processed to recognize
fingers, then the microcontroller can operate the TV. Color model that used in this
research is HSV.
The results of the research found the best value for testing operation of the
TV with a finger gesture. For the value of the light intensity is 12 lux, the best
distance is 70 cm and the best baskground is blue. |
