| Summary: | Software development for simulation and HMI has grown rapidly and has complete features, so it can show parameters and conditions which almost the same as in the field. This software has a capability to run in many applications, such as transportation, especially in traffic light system. Recently traffic light uses constant timing system. Because of traffic density is not always balanced at each lane, congestion will happen in the crossroads. The research aimed to design and simulate a censored-traffic light system in the crossroads using software Automation Studio. The light timing was based on the vehicle intensity passing through in the crossroads. The timing was not constant but it depended on the vehicle intensity passing the crossroads. The result shows that is a traffic light simulation system is able to adapt with traffic density. |
