description Electricity is a primary need for human beings, almost everything that needed by all the people in this world using electricity for their daily needs. If the electricity is disturbed, it can cause disadvantages to various parties that need electricity. Therefore, the continuity of reliable generator is needed. Distributed generation is a generation of energy system where a generator is functioned as an additional generator besides the electricity supply from network or major generator. Small capacity generator that used in this Distributed Generation (DG) generally use induction machine. In this final task, has the objective of preserving the DG unit is still operating when disconnected from the synchronous generator (Loss of Syncrhonous Generator). With the simulations using PSIM will be set the imposition that later will be bear by the DG to match with the capacity of DG so that no generating failure. DG that will be used in the form of an Induction Motor As Generator (MISG) associated with Synchronous Generator. The simulation results illustrate the stability of the system with the influence of the great value of the capasitor that used, so it will be known how long MISG can survive in accordance with the minimum voltage limit allowed by -10% and MISG capacity owned due to still working well. Besides the value of the capacitor will also affect the size of the system voltage because the capacitor is supplying reactive power to MISG. There was also the addition of a capacitor with the appropriate capacity can increase the maximum power capacity of a parallel system induction generator and synchronous generator.
