| Summary: | Background: Final Waste Disposal has very important functions. However, it has
impacts on environment�s quality decrease due to midden. This midden results
various polutant which later on it causes air pollution as well as human�s health.
The midden, beside as vector�s living place, also as a place for the development of
microorganism , such as fungi and bacteria, so that they can be easily spread to
the air.
Research Purpose: This research is aimed to find out the factors related to
biological quality of the air in the houses around Piyungan Final Waste Disposal
in Sitimulyo Subdistrict, Piyungan District, Bantul Regency.
Research Method: This research uses analytical descriptive survey method with
cross-sectional approach to find out the factors related to the air biological quality
in the houses around the Final Waste Disposal. The subject of this research are the
residents� houses around Piyungan Final Waste Disposal.
Results : Based on the results of bivariate analysis, it is shown that there is
significant correlation between dwelling density (p = 0.016
