This is affects lifetime dc motor because more heat in spindle. In this study, using fuzzy logic to reduce maximal current through dc motor when it starting. Methodology that is used in this study is fuzzy logic being implemented in Programable Logic Controller (PLC). Testing process is done by control dc motor reach particular set point and observe the maximum current. The analysis explain about comparison between starting state without controlling and fuzzy logic controlling. Based on analysis, the result is about controlling fuzzy logic can reduce maximum current that throught, but slower settling time if set point more higher.
