| Summary: | The direction of this research in Kulonprogo region is to visualize an
agriculture data spacially in a map and to present agriclture maps in atlas
version and how to evaluate the final map and the atlas as well.
The method in this research is started with preparation of avaibility of
material and equipment, data collecting, data clasifying, data simbolizing,
thematic map creating, atlas designing and atlas evaluating. The data within this
research is an agriculture statistic data which is created to be as an agriculture
thematic maps then is developed become a book of maps, that is agriculture atlas.
The final result of the reserach is an agriculture atlas in electronic version
and printed version. In electronic version, the atlas is able to present additional
information such as description, table, diagram and picture to elucidate
agriculture information from the maps, although in applying the electronic
version still have a minor lacking since it needs a help from an electronic system/
software. Whereas in printed version, although the information is limited only on
written form, the usage of it is simple enough and more epractical. Both printed
version and electronic version has each advantage and disadvantage. Each of
them accomplishs one and the other so that make the user easily to access the
atlas.
