| Summary: | Adoption of prepaid electronic transaction schemes show increases in
Indonesian societies on retails and public transportations, proved by increases of
electronic cash issued according to data from Bank Indonesia. Nevertheless this
kind of transaction requires several special equipments such as special cards and
their readers. On the other side several latest generation of smartphones has Near
Field Technology (NFC).
This research aims for a NFC-based electronic transaction scheme
embedded on smartphones which can still running even though there is no Internet
connection. This scheme then will be implemented on Blackberry OS 7.1 platform
on smartphone and PHP with MySQL on server side. NFC modes used in this
work are NFC Card Emulation using Blackberry Virtual Tag and NFC Reader
mode.
This work results in an electronic-based transaction scheme and its
implementation as working prototype which is running on Blackberry OS 7.1
platform on smartphone/client side and PHP and MySQL on server side. This
scheme is an off-line based, means it can still runs although disconnected from
Internet. |
