| Summary: | The aim of the research was to estimate the heritability of calving
interval and service per conception of Friesian Holstein at PT. Naksatra
Kejora Rowoseneng, Temanggung, Central Java. The research was used
the data record of calving interval from 2006 to 2011, and data record of
service per conception from 2006 to 2011. Heritability value was estimate
by paternal halfsib correlation method and parent offspring regression
method. The results showed that heritability value of calving interval and
service per conception that use paternal halfsib correlation method was
0,68±0,66 dan 0,16±0,36. The result heritability value of calving interval
and service per conception that use parent offspring regression methode
were 0,25±0,26 dan 0,14±0,30. Estimation heritability value of calving
interval and service per conception at PT. Naksatra Kejora Rowoseneng
Temanggung that use two methode was positive and moderate to high.
