and developing countries. The right treatment in handling postpartum bleeding in
health centers can reduce the maternal mortality rate caused by postpartum
bleeding hence response time is needed to be available in health centers.
Objective: to find out the correlation between response time with the success of
handling postpartum bleeding.
Method: this is an observational analytic study using case control study. The
research subjects are all postpartum mothers who suffered postpartum bleeding
and they were referred to Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto Hospital during 1
January 2008-31Desember 2011. The sampling technique is purposive sampling.
The data collecting techniques are medical record observation and in depth
interview. The data analyses techniques invariable, bivariabel dan multivariabel.
Results: the statistic test show that x² 0.058 with p 0.810 (OR 1.22 with 95% CI
0.39-3.20) > 0.05. These indicate that there is no correlation between response
time with the success of handling postpartum bleeding.
Conclusion: there is no correlation between response time with the success of
handling postpartum bleeding in Margono Soekardjo Hospital Purwokerto. |
