methods, sun drying and with heater drying. This system consists of a LDR
Sensor, DHT 11 Sensor, Arduino Uno microcontroller system, servo motor TG9,
Heater, Grove relay and Power supply.
This grain dryers using a mechanical system as a servo motor to drive the
process of opening and closing of the roof and grain stirrers. The process of
opening and closing of the roof using the indicator light on the LDR sensor, bright
weather conditions will be open and if the weather is cloudy conditions will be
covered. The heating system uses Grove relay are set up automatically on / off
according to the temperature indicator light in the room and the storage of grain.
The method of drying in the sun heater requires 10 minutes and 15 minutes for
the heater drying method is based on the set point temperature 40 °C and
hummidty 55 %RH. By the time 10 minutes drying in the sun heater temperature
reaches 41 °C and hummidty 56 %RH and the drying heater temperature reaches
38 °C and hummidty 58 %RH.
The results of measurements of temperature and humidity sensor DHT11
is displayed on the LCD character display 16x2. So with this tool the farmers will
easiyer to dry the grain when the weather is overcast or rainy conditions. |
