Summary: | Superabsorbent polymer composite as material having capability to absorb and
retain a large amount of water has been synthesized by using acrylic acid,
carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and clay obtained from the residue of bentonite
washing as raw materials. The synthesis was done through polymerization with
