| description | The purpose of this research was to identify the selling price of the
sheep based on the age and weight of the sheep and to analyze the
factors that affect the price of sheep during of Eid al-Adha at Ternak
Barokah, the partner of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The
research was carried out from September 1 to October 30, 2013, with an
object of the research activity was the sale of the Rams during of Eid al-
Adha. The sample used was 84 head which consisted of small, medium
and large size and classified by age < 1 year, 1 to 2 years, and >2 years.
The collected data was the price, age, weight, length, heartgirth. The
method used was a survey by direct observation and interviews to the
seller. Identifying the price of the sheep based on age and weight was
done descriptively using table, meanwhile to know about the factors
affecting to the price of sheep at Ternak Barokah was done by multiple
linear regression analysis. The result of this research showed that there
was a difference between the prices of sheep by measured weight and
estimated weight. The difference between estimated weight price and
measured weight price was 359.112 IDR ± 55.482 per head. Factors that
positively and significantly affected the price of the sheep at Ternak
Barokah at the time of Eid al-Adha was weight, age, and chest
circumference. |
