सारांश:Temporomandibular joint disorder is a dental or medical condition that affects the temporomandibular joints and muscles of mastication as well as network components. Symptoms temporomandibular joint disorder include pain, pain in the face or jaw joint area, limitation in opening the mouth, jaw joint locked and sound. Sound of temporomandibular joint is the sound that comes from a variety of joints during movement of the mandible. Sound of temporomandibular joints occur in one or both temporomandibular joints and on all objectives of the movement such as opening, closing, protusi, retrusi or lateral movement.This sound is due to the change of location, shapeand function of the temporomandibular joint components. Temporomandibular joint disorder treatment can be distinguished as conservative treatment and operative treatment. One of the conservative treatment was made prosthesis. Clinical experimental study was conducted on 16 people subject. Metering of sound of temporomandibular joint made during opening and closing the mouth before insertion and after seven days the use of removable partial dentures by using a headset that is combined with condenser microphones.Data of recording were analyzed with the software matlab 2010 is value of the amplitude and frequency of the temporomandibular joint. Result were analyzed using t - test of dependent test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed no significant difference in outcome data recording (p>0,05). The conclusion of this study is the use of removable partial dentures for seven days in the case of more than three tooth loss has no effect for sound of temporomandibular joint.
