| Summary: | FactoryTFEofCDMwith a capacity of20.000 tons/year is planned to be established in Cilegon, Banten with a land area of 120.000 m2 and absorb 278 workforces. Tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) is the raw material ofPolytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Finally, almost99,9 % ofTFEproductionwill be used to produce PTFE. The manufacturing process consist of the following steps : vaporizing the raw material (CDM), formation of TFE and HCl on the Furnace Reactor, absorption of HCl on Absorber, and purification of TFE on Stripping Column. The process will result HCl solution stored in Strorage Tank (T-03) and TFE 96,5% stored in Storage Tank (T-02). The raw material need for the production is CDM 99,90% of 38.860 tons/year, and will result HCl 37% of 43.000 tons/year. The utility need in the form of steam at 3536 tons/year, the compressed air of 266.112 m3/year, the process water of 39.180 tons/year, electricity demand of 19.132,65 kW, fuel oil amounting to 4.196 tons/year, refrigerant of 25,7 tons/year. Economics evaluatin shows that design plant requires fixed capital investment of US $22.488.088,51
