Summary:The area of sesame cultivation in Indonesia has declined due to land use change to food crop cultivation. The existence of coastal area which is not yet optimal used can be an alternative as sesame cultivation area. The weakness of sandy coastal area is the availability of sulfur and magnesium, however these elements are very important to oil seed crop. This study aims to determine the effect of sulfur and magnesium application as epsom salt fertilizer on the yield and seed quality of sesame. This research was done in coastal area of Samas, Bantul, Yogyakarta and arranged according to split plot design with four blocks as replications. The main plot were epsom salt dosages i.e. 0 (control)
