Description
Summary:The review of these studies was related about measurements for bathimetric acquisition data using Singlebeam Echosounder, that is existence a factor cause of the error for the measurement results. That factor is the velocity of the ship that brought the Echosounder tool. Theor tically, the ship velocity will create a different reference frame from the motionless reference frame. It causes an error on the measurement of coordinates and depth scale, the correction model will appropriate with the theory of relative motion in accordance the concept of Galillean transformation. The difference scale value between the reference frames cause the velocity effect is asumption as a form of error which must be correct, so that the measured value will equal with the value from the earth reference frame (motionless), because in the concept of mapping must be used data which appropriate with the observer on the earth reference frame. However, statistically these errors do not sure indicate a significant difference value of the scale. Because in this test also depends by the value of the standard deviation for each scale were tested its error rate. The process of statistical testing is conduct to determine and answer questions about the error rate of ship velocity whether acceptable or not, based on its related with the standard deviation of each scale. The zero hypothesis say that ship velocity affect the result of measurement. Conclusion of this study was claimed that statistically the ship velocity under 7 knot (SNI 7646:2010) is not affect the measurement results, or in other words, the zero hypothesis is rejected, because the standard deviation value is so large if compared with the value of error. It is also evident from the value of the measured coordinates and the value of corrected coordinates which plotting and then drawn the contours, visually on a setting scale of 1:7500 does not look any different positions coordinates and also its contour lines. The result of the errors value analysis was claimed that the cause is the speed factor and measured depth values factor.
