| Summary: | Yogyakarta is the most populous city that in the city is considering a study center students from various regions outside the city of Yogyakarta so every year it gets busier as the use of private vehicles that were increasingly uncontrollable. The government is currently developing a Semi Bus Rapid Transit which is known as the Bus Trans Jogja. In the development times, the Bus Trans Jogja performance standards need to be monitored so that more and more people who want to use it. This research will examine the factors that affect the public interest with use of factor analysis method. Assessment is based on a direct survey Trans Jogja buses to passengers who are waiting for either the bus or get off from the bus already. The survey results are processed and then look for the results of the factor analysis. After going through a series of factor analysis process, there are three new factors i.e the Bus Trans Jogja service quality, operational factors Bus Trans Jogja, and accessibility of these factors data showed that people liked to use the Bus Trans Jogjafor security and the unwelcome lowest position there on stretch/route. For that evaluation Bus Trans Jogja route needs to be done to further enhance the public interest to use Bus Trans Jogja.
