| Summary: | Amfibi pontoon undercarriage is an undercarriage that can travel and
work safety and effectively on soft terrains such as swamp, wet land and shallow
water. The designed amfibi pontoon undercarriage has unparalled mobility to
work on soft terrain and swamp area. That situation also makes difference in
under-chasis component, mainly in design and production process of track link
and track shoe that will be researched in this final assigment.
This research using several methods, such as field observation on
production and assembling process of the whole component at PT Eka Sapta
Persada, direct interview with some workers of track link and track shoe's
production, and using literature review to support this final assigment.
Production process of track link and track shoe is doing with several steps,
starts from designing, production, finishing, and the last is assembling process.
The production process of track link and track shoe is using some machines, such
as lathe machine, weld machine, drill machine, grinder machine, and press
machine. In the production process of track link dan track shoe of amfibi pontoon
undercarriage, all of the material's cutting and machine procces must be right and
precisely, so the connecting and assembling procces will be more easy to do.
