| Summary: | The objectives of the research were to isolate and identify Streptococcus sp. isolated
from Tilapia in Kedung Ombo, Gadjah Mungkur, and Wadas Lintang. The samples of Tilapia
showed general symptoms of Streptococciasis disease. The bacterial isolates with high
pathogenicity were identified to species level. The results indicated that three isolates (WGM
1A3, WKO 4C2, and WDL 4A1) exhibited high pathogenicity to Tilapia. Bacterial isolates of
WGM 1A3 and WKO 4C2 were identified as Streptococcus agalactiae and WDL 4A1 as
Streptococcus pneumonia. |
