description The study with the topic of Ciacia language genealogy described the genealogy of Ciacia language from its position in Muna-Buton sub-family to the status of isolects in speech area of the Ciacia language. It began with analysis of the status of the isolects in the speech area of the Ciacia language. The results of the analysis showed that Kumbewaha isolect could be classified into the speech group of the Ciacia language. Subsequently, dialectometry results were first interpreted to formulate initial hypothesis of the status of the isolects in the Ciacia language. It was the hypothesis that was used as the basis of further analysis. Description of linguistic similarity and difference was used to support the determination of the isolects in the speech area of the Ciacia language at dialect and sub-dialect levels. The genealogical description of the Ciacia language was more complete with the establishment of pre-Ciacia language followed by tracing the relationship between the pre-Ciacia language and modern Ciacia language. The relationship between Proto-Austronesia, the pre-Ciacia language and the modern Ciacia language was also examined in the study so that the transformation change from the most ancient form of Proto-Austronesia to the modern Ciacia was obtained, as manifested in its dialects and sub-dialects. However, some findings were still indicative of the presence of the retention of the elements of the Proto-Austronesia, the pre-Ciacia language, the dialects and the sub-dialect of the Ciacia language. It was the results of the qualitative analysis that supported the hypothesis of the division of the dialects and the sub-dialects of the Ciacia language. It was concluded by describing inter-dialect and inter-sub-dialect genealogy of the Ciacia language and the genealogy of the Ciacia language and other languages in the Muna-Buton sub-family. Finally, it gave genealogical chart of the Ciacia language from its position in the Muna-Buton sub-family to the level of the similarity in its inter-isolect status in the speech area of the Ciacia language.
