Summary: | Justice is goal of law enforcement. Judge is an important instrument in the
enforcement of criminal justice in Indonesian. The judge has the potential to bias in
the assessment of a criminal case. From some research on judge�s judgment and
decision making (eg Probowati, 2003) shows about it. However, not much research
in the psychological assessment process in the High Court Judge Justice.Rape is a
crime of gender bias. The effect is fatal for the victims of rape and rape crimes from
year to year to show improvement. Criminal justice assessment is the starting point
in the decision. Theoretically assessment of criminal justice the perpetrators of rape
are affected by the length of the criminal court, the age of the perpetrator, and the
time given by the judge.This study used three experiments carried out serially. The
variables has involved Length of criminal sentence (15 years, 5 years and acquittal),
age of rapist (39 years old and 12 years old), and time pressure as independent
variables. Sexism as co variable. Judgement of retributive justice, restorative justice
and procedural justice as dependent variables. As many as 598 people subject to
the inclusion of the character an accredited Law School student at least B, and has
taken courses in Criminal Law. The measurement used is retributive, restorative and
procedural justice scale and ambivalent sexism scale (Benevolent sexism and
Hostile sexism).The results shown Length of criminal sentence, age of rapist, and
time pressure has influence toward judgment of retributive justice and retributive
justice, but no toward procedural justice. In all independent variables, sexism has not
influence.
