Description
Summary:Spatial planning of health facilities such as pharmacy can be a way of problem solving in the distribution of pharmacy facility which was not prevalent in Banjarbaru city. Geographic information systems (GIS) applied in the form of pharmacy mapping was able to visualize distribution of pharmacies to assist the government, consumers and pharmacy entrepreneurs to find out the location of the pharmacy. The aim of this research was to analyze the influence of attitude, subjective norm, and behavior control towards consumers intention in utilization of pharmacy service in region with dense pharmacy (region I) and the region with little pharmacy (region II) using the concept of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This research was non experimental study with analytical descriptive using software of GIS to map the location of pharmacies by the assistance of Global Positioning System (GPS). Haggets formula was used to find out the pattern of pharmacies distribution in Banjarbaru city. Salient beliefs survey was conducted by exploratory study and consumers intention was measured by TPB questionnaires. Sampling was nonprobability sample with cross sectional study. The sample size was 377 divided into 247 questionnaires of pharmacy region I and 130 questionnaires of pharmacy region II. Analysis which was conducted includes validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. Result of the research obtained that pharmacies were concentrated in the central of Banjarbaru city with cluster distribution pattern (T =0,15). Regression analysis of pharmacy consumers in region I showed significant and positive influence of attitude variable, subjective norm and behavior control towards consumers intention of pharmacy (p<0,05). Consumers in region II showed positive and significant relation in variable of subjective norm and behavior control (p< 0,05) but not significant in attitude variable (p.>0,05). Behavior control namely the service of pharmacist was a dominant factor for consumers in region I who intended to go to pharmacy and variable of subjective norm namely the existence of doctor was a dominant supporting factor of pharmacy consumers in region II who intended to go to pharmacy.
