description Light a room needs to be controlled and maintained in order to produce lighting as needed and lead to a sense of comfort for the residents so that optimum power lights used but still efficient. To achieve that purpose, needs the light intensity control system so that resulting lighting room is required based on the Indonesian National Standards and can maintain the illumination intensity corresponding set point despite the intervention of outside light changed. In the light intensity control system requires the user interface to HMI or assist the operator in monitoring the process of controlling the light intensity of a space. One of the software which can be used to create HMI is LabVIEW. With LabVIEW, can be made control system along with user interface. This system uses three LDR sensor, each mounted in the middle of the third side of the wall to find a large space miniature light intensity as a whole. Sensor output is read by the Arduino, and then converted into a digital value,then converted with a Lux meter, and filtered with double exponential filtering programmed on the Arduino. Lux value with units that have been filtered are then sent by the Arduino to LabVIEW for processing control system in LabVIEW. The resulting control signals are sent to the Arduino to be processed on a dimmer in the Arduino program. This control signal will be a variation of the TRIAC firing time delay so that the Arduino digital output pin can transmit a signal to a low or high dimmer circuit based on the specified time so that it can adjust bright - dim light. The dimmer circuit consists of a series of zero crossing detector and lamp driver circuit. The tuning of control parameters using classical tuning method with the results of the tuning is Kp = 0.1 , Ti = 0.03 , Td = 0.013 and at set point 200 Lux gained 3,1 seconds rise time, 7,2 seconds peak time, overshoot 17,5%, 18,5 seconds settling time and steady state error 1,8% .
