Summary: | As the development in the health service industry, it forces the nurses to be able
to adapt to the demand of the workplace so it would not lead to burnout for the
nurses. The higher level of burnout in the nurses will disturb the flow of hospital
services. This research aims to know the role of workload, hardiness and
sincerity in the burnout. This is a co-relational research with 80 nurses at
Banjarnegara Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Banjarnegara). The data
collecting in this research uses several scales: Maslach Burnout Inventory-
Human Service Scale (Maslach & Jackson, 1986), Quantitative Workload
Inventory (Spector & Jex dalam Mauno Mauno, Cuyper, Kinnunen & Witte, 2011),
Personal Views Survey III-Revised (Maddi, Havey, Khoshaba, Lu, Persico &
Brow, 2006) and Sincerity scale (Chizanah, 2011b). The result of this survey
shows that variable of workload, hardiness and sincerity, together, contribute
value of 69,9% towards burnout (R=0,836
