Summary: | The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of quartet card educational
games in fostering moral intelligence in middle-aged children. A study conducted
in Surakarta involved 15 children grouped as an experimental group and 16
children grouped as a control group. A quasi-experimental design was used to see
the difference between the experimental group and the control group.
The experimental group played the quartet card games three times
meeting. The instruments used in this study were Moral Intelligence
Comprehension Test (TPKM) and Moral Intelligence Scale (SKM). TPKM was
ascribed to experimental group in prior to pre-test and post-test, while SKM scale
was attributed to both groups, before and after the experiment.
According the ANCOVA analysis, there is a significant difference between
the experimental group and the control group in terms of moral intelligence,
indicating that the experimental groups remarkably has higher moral intelligence
score than the control group. Therefore, the quartet card educational games might
enhance middle-aged children's moral intelligence.
