However, most of them tend to complain and give up when they have to face up the difficult situasion in their daily activities. Therefore, it is important to embed hardiness values when they are still very young in order to create the nation next generations who are stand fast, patient, and dogged, as well as have high motivation in facing up challenging. One of the methods that can be done in embedding the hardiness values to the early childhood is through storytelling. This research is to get to know whether storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� is able to improve the knowledge of the early childhood regarding the hardiness character. The hyphotesis is there is the distinction of the knowledge level in contact with the hardiness character between the children who obtain storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� and the children who do not obtain the storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid�. The children who obtain the storytelling method �I am a marvellous kid� have the level of knowledge regarding the hardiness character higher than those who do not obtain the storytelling method �I am a marvellous kid�, and the children who obtain the storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� improve their knowledge in the contact with hardiness character. The participants of this research were 20 kindergarten children from class B whose age are between 5-6 years (boys and girls). The research participants were divided into control and experiment group, which each group consisted of 10 children. The hyphotesis of this research is The storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� is able to improve the knowledge of the early childhood regarding the hardiness character. The design of the experiment used in this research was untreated control group design with dependent pretest and posttest samples. The result of data analysis which was used Anava mixed design show that the storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� is able to improve the knowledge of early childhood regarding the hardiness character. The children who get the storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� have the higher knowledge regarding the hardiness character than those who do not get storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid�, p=0,00 (p<0,05). Besides that, the result of the analysis shows that there is the improvement of the early childhood knowledge regarding the hardiness character after they get the storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid�, p=0,00 (p<0,05). The contribution of the effectiveness of the storytelling method �I am a marvelous kid� towards the improvement of the early childhood knowledge regarding the hardiness character is 96.1%.
