Summary: | Previous research found that hope and resilience have a positive effect on
work engagement. Beside that, another research showed there�s an effect on
hope and resilence from meaning. The aim of this research was to knew
whether hope and resilience could mediate the relationship between
meaningful work and work. This research toward plantation employee (N=106)
showed that there was a direct effect from meaninggful work to hope
(β=0.477), resilience (β=0.223) and work engagement(β=0.478). There was
also a direct effect from hope to resilience (β=0.567) and work
engagement(β=0.387). Beside that, this research also found an indirect effect
from meaningful work to resilence (β=0.270) and work engagement (β=0.185)
through hope. But effect from resilience to work engagement can not be
found. |
