Summary: | Background: Various management functions implemented by the leadership in
order to achieve the objectives of the organization. Existing functions in the
management of which is a function of planning (Planning), the function of
organizing (Organizing), the function implementation (Actuating) and supervisory
functions (Controlling). The four management functions must be conducted by a
Manager continously to realize the objectives of the organization. Surveillance is
part of the management function in order to attempt a plan that is already set can
be achieved with effective and efficient. The hospital is one of the integral part
that is important as the site of the Ministry of health for the community,
necessitating specific supervision in order to improve the performance of the
hospital.
Research objectives: To find out effectiveness of the supervision conducted by
the supervisory board on the hospital performance as a Local Public Service
Board (BLUD).
Research methods: this research is a descriptive qualitative research design case
studies. While the techniques used in this research is purposive sumpling (sample
aims), with a total sample of 11 people.
Research results: there were irregularities in the implementation of hospital
performance supervision in particular tasks, functions and duties as the Board of
Trustees, the Board of Trustees has yet to run its full duties, functions and
obligations.
Conclusion: Results of this study: (a) The board of supervisors in BLUD
hospitals dr.HM Rabain not fully perform in accordance with the standards of
supervision and (b) the board of trustees that there have not been able to
contribute positively in achieving good and clean governance. Follow-up results
of the supervision of the supervisory board in BLUD hospitals dr.HM Rabain not
in accordance with the applicable standards. Results of monitoring have not seen
the significantly impact of increased performance that shows hospitals were
healthy or unhealthy status.
