| Summary: | The final paper with the title �Economics concept of traditional Java tribe: A critical analysis on Capitalist Paradigm in the era of Globalization in Indonesia� was conducted based on Philosophical Economics discourse. The goals of this research were to describe on the economics concept of traditional Java tribe and capitalist paradigm in the era of globalization, then to analyze the critic of traditional Java tribe ideal concept in relation to economics life toward the capitalist paradigm in Indonesia.
The research method used was descriptive analysis method, started with obtaining the data, then described the formal and material object, and finally compiled the result of the study conducted. The research model used was literary research model. The data were obtained from relevant books and journals.
The conclusion of this research mainly can be described as follow: First, Economics concepts of traditional Java tribe is a concept idealized in the economic live of traditional Javanese tribe which has goal to achieve harmony and prosperity of man and nature based on the spirituality of Kejawen. Second, capitalist paradigm also influences the life style and paradigm of Indonesian in the era of globalization about life. Finally, there are some realities of capitalist paradigm that aren�t suitable with the ideal concept promoted in the economic life of traditional Java tribe.
