Summary: | Prototype of PDAM water flow monitoring using a water flow sensor
based on the Arduino Uno is designed for employees of PDAM to minimize that
working in the field of water volume monitoring. This system composed of a
water flow sensor, LCD shield, LCD, Arduino Uno, personal computer and water
pump.
This project used water flow sensor to measure the water flow rate of the
water. This sensor system is working by using Hall effect phenomena. Hall effect
is based on the effect of the magnetic field on moving charged particles to obtain
the frequency value. The frequency then calculated into the water flow rate and
total volume. The measurement results are then displayed on the LCD 2 x 16
characters such as flowrate and total volume of water while displayed by the
computer interface in the such as pulse, flowrate of water, and total volume, as
well as measurement results can be saved in a computer. Flow rate range: 1~30
L/min and the average error of the measurement range + 4% with an accuracy of
96%.
