Description
Summary:Energy is the basic requrement of the human life. More people development will be more energy requirement needs. During the time, using the energy unrenewal that become causes of energy crisis in the future. The solution to solve this problem is by unceasing research related with the alternative energy that can be renewal (bioenergy), one of them is bioethanol. Bioethanol is an easy result of burn material from plants fermentation contains of glucose, carbohidrate, or cellulose. The materials were found from the food materials as the main factor for the people. The effort to avoid competition between the stock of food materials and the source, so the alternative is make bioethanol from compose heap of food production example nata de cocos waste. This observation is to analyzed wether potential or unpotential from compose heap of nata de coco to be the substitude material of bioethanol. From thus observation hopely can find many benefit like knowledge of the result and process from the waste to be beneficial matter and minimize waste contamination to enviroment. The observation start from splitting up the material cellulosa chains being glucose using ezyme to produce higher sugar reduction, then the media will be fermentated to be bioethanol. The fermentation using S.cerevisiae in the accurate propper time and then will be distilating till produce etanol. Technically the solid waste of nata de coco potentionaly to be bioethanol, because reduction sugar from sacarification process could be fermentated with S.caerevisiae. Sugar reduction from natas waste are 0.86% and be 0.68% bioethanol. Product bioethanol from natas waste have a very small content so unpotential to be substitution of BBM commercially. Other than that, bioethanol from natas waste have a high production cost and lack of stock material.
