| Summary: | Prigi Beach is located in Trenggalek Regency, East Java. Not only has the
beach, but this tourist object also has other attractions including Nusantara Fishery
Port and Larung Sembonyo Ceremony. As a tourist object first developed by the
local government, a lot of tourism facilities have been already built there. One
way to measure the success of the tourism facilities is by investigating the tourist
satisfaction.
This research employed 100 respondents (tourists) to collect data by
distributing questionnaires. The results of the research showed that 63% of
respondents were not satisfied with the facilities. In addition, out of some tourism
facilities available, 2 facilities, i.e. security post and medical center, were not
running well according to the respondents.
For the tourism development in Prigi Beach, this research makes several
suggestions as follows: (a) the facilities are already well-preserved, kept, and
maintained by the management, local community, and tourists
