| Summary: | The Proclamation of Indonesian Republic on August 17 1945, has
brought a great impact to the body of the republic. The defeat of Japanese from
the allied arms and the coming of NICA�s Netherland to Indonesian region gave
an enormous problems to the republic. The Netherland accusation toward
Indonesian government as a creation from Japanese has brought Sjahrir to the
position of Prime Minister. Due this position and condition, Sjahrir decided to
create republic delegations for facing many obstacle, especially for handling
negotiaton between another country. Because of this policy, the republic needs
a great diplomats for facing negotiatons.
The emergence of early diplomats such as Sjahrir, Agus Salim,
Muhammad Roem from civilian side and T.B. Simatupang from military side,
has begun to defends the republic with diplomation ways. The diplomation
between Indonesia and Netherland has often failed and gave some
disadvantages to Indonesia. During this period, Indonesian diplomats also
asked some helps from the others country because of the netherland offense
militarily and didn�t consisten to the dealt. The helps for RI was come from the
others country such as Australia, Egypt, India, Lebanon, Siria, Iraq, Saudi
Arabia, and Yamen. One of great impact from the diplomations ways was
happened in December 27 1949, when the Ducth gave Indonesian region to the
Republic Of Indonesia.
