Summary: | Environmental health of cities in Indonesia still lack of attention from various parties including government, investors, and society itself, especially in big cities. Many factors need to be considered in analyzing health problems, one of which is a physical factor that can be used as a reference to determine the economic matters of surrounding environment.
The method that used in this research is combining the 2008 Quickbird image interpretation with field work in 2013 for identifying the parameters as building patterns, density of buildings, driveway width, road surface conditions, shade trees, the effects of pollution, flood inundation, the presence of trash disposal location and water supply net. Determining samples use stratified random sampling method and accuracy test by confusion matrix. The data that obtained through the Quickbird image, analyzed dan displayed using geographic information systems as well as in the validation test using disease incidence data in 2013.
Result of interpretation accuracy parameters generated from the research ranged from 80%-86,66%, the accuracy is worthy to be accepted. Environmental soundness divided into 3, that is good, moderate and poor. Moderate level of health is the most common category. The most common incidence of disease is respiratory diseases which are found in the whole width of the road which has high traffic density.
