and services.
This study aims to describe the process of community empowerment which
oriented in tourism that happening in the Pulang Syawal Beach, Gunungkidul District
powered by the private sector since it start developed in 2009 and identifies the
factors that affect it. For that purpose, consideration and assessment of community
participation and its relation to the development of coastal and spatial aspects of the
beach from the visible range of activities and land use is very necessary.
This research uses case study method . Data collection was done through field
observations and doing interviews with the private sector who associated with the
development of the area and the community as an object that felt the impact of
community empowerment powered by the private sector.
The results showed that : 1) Investor / private changing mindset / thinking of
people who feel threatened against foreigners to respect and appreciate them for
coming to visit the area attractions |
