Summary:The effectiveness of English teaching and learning process can be seen through some factors. The factors are teachers, students, teaching materials, the facilities, time management, methods and a good situation during teaching learning process. Those factors are really needed to improve and its purpose is to advance the interest in learning English language. MTs Negeri Borobudur is a junior high school which has a role to advance the application of English language since the students came to school because in school English language is available for Superior Class in each grade. Through this graduating paper, the writer will explain about the effectiveness and the method of English teaching and learning process in Superior Class. The data of this graduating paper is taken from MTs Negeri Borobudur database. The other data is obtained by interviewing some English teachers who are related to Superior Class and some students in Superior Class, MTs Negeri Borobudur. Besides, the writer uses direct observation in Superior Class and gives tests to students. Those steps are to measure the effectiveness of teaching and learning in Superior Class. The result of this paper proves that the teaching and learning process in MTs Negeri Borobudur, especially in Superior Class is relatively effective and good. Students can follow the teaching learning easily and get a beneficial knowledge in school.
