| description | Tax is one of the largest sources of income for a country or region. Land and building tax in a kind of taxes that collect tax out of the use and possession of land and building in a particular region. In order to deliver information on land and building tax, an easy-to-understand information medium/center is required. Such media information can be in a form of an interactive map which can provide information about tax data that users want to know. In this project, an interactive map of land and building tax for Dauhwaru Village was developed using Adobe Flash Professional CS 6 software. Block map that was obtained from relevant source was then converted using MapInfo Professional 8.5 and Autodeskmap software. Attribute data was obtained from the tax authorities. The data was firstly converted into xml and then secondly, attribute data and spatial data were merged using Adobe Flash Professional CS 6 software to be used as an interactive map.
Interactive maps generated provide some informations which include spatial information, street names, location of the object and attribute information. This attribute information include tax object number, taxpayer name, address of tax object, address of taxpayers, code of Land Value Zone, area of land, area of building, Tax Object Sales Value, Value of land, Object Sales Tax of building and the Tax Object Sales Value total. There are some types of views presented in this interactive map which include the initial display, view profiles, view a map of the village and block map view. |
