| description | This research was conducted in the Gebang Subdistrict Purworejo Regency with the aim to determine the development of women farmers, agricultural extension agent 's role in the development of women farmers, and the factors that influence the development of women farmers. The method used is descriptive analytic method. KWT sampling is purposive. Every six respondents KWT taken by simple random sampling so that the total sample of 66 respondents. Data were analyzed with the proportion of test and multiple linear regression analysis .
The results showed that the majority of women farmers in the Gebang Subdistrict have better development. Most of the agricultural extension has a high role in the development of women farmers. The role of agricultural extension held as a motivator, communicator, facilitator, partners, and consultants. Factors affecting the development of women farmers is the cohesion and the role of extension as a motivator. Cohesion and the role of extension as a motivator to have a positive influence in the development of women farmers. Motivation, attitudes, interactions, and perceptions of leadership and the role of group leader extension as a communicator, facilitator, partners, and consultants are not influential in the development of women farmers . |
