| Summary: | Semen Gresik Hospital has a primary purpose of providing a social function in
providing health services for the community , especially people in Gresik and
surrounding areas . So far in assessing its performance , Semen Gresik Hospital
focuses on the perspective of financial management led to a focus on short-term
performance.
This study measure the performance of Semen Gresik Hospital with four
perspectives based on the Balanced Scorecard approach , which consists of :
financial perspective , customer perspective , internal business perspective and
learning and growth perspective . This study was conducted to collect data for three
years , ie from 2011 to 2013 . Study uses comparative analysis to evaluate hospital
performance during a particular period .
Hospital performance measurement results show that the overall performance
of Semen Gresik Hospital was considered quite good when viewed from four
perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard . Thus , the Balanced Scorecard is suitable to
be applied on Semen Gresik Hospital as the Balanced Scorecard to assess the overall
hospital performance compared to traditional systems that are still used today.
