description This study aimed to model the relationship between variables forming social entrepreneurial intention among undergraduate students. The Mair and Noboas social entrepreneurial intention model was utilized as the underlying theoretical model. This research was based on a quantitative, hypothetico-deductive, and survey approach. A sample of 146 social sciences undergraduate students from FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) was used for empirical analysis. Primary data was collected using questionnaires. Partial least squares path modeling (PLS-PM) was used to test the theoretical model and to identify the important predictors of social entrepreneurial intention. XLStat 2013 software was used to perform PLS-PM data analysis. The findings of this study supported the hypothesized relationships proposed in the theoretical model, except for the effect of empathy or moral judgment on perceived desirability. The results revealed that opportunity construction has a significant effect on perceived desirability, support has a significant effect on perceived feasibility, and willpower has a significant effect on propensity to act. The results also provided strong evidence that perceived desirability, perceived feasibility, and propensity to act, each has a significant effect on social entrepreneurial intention. Based on these findings, a number of methodological and practical recommendations related to this study were considered.
