| Summary: | This research is aimed to know the rise of weight condition and ovary weight of a white mice (rattus novergicus) after being fed it with banana peel. This research has been done for 2 weeks, on the 20 of 3 month female white mice weigh around 152-217gr, with good medical condition which were devided into four groups, each treatment group consists of five white mice.Group A (control) whereas Group B, Group C and Group D orderly fed with 1ml of banana peel extract in each concentration was 10%, 20% and 40%. It had done by weighing the ovary on the last treatment. The data of weight and ovary weight was tabulated and counted its rate of rise difference in weight and ovary. The research result mean shows that mean of weight rise at Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D was each 7±3,74gr, 9±3,94gr, 21±17,38gr and 18,4±7,7gr. The mean of ovary weight rise, each was 0,1733±0,0659gr, 0,3394±0,3267gr, 0,2405±0,2669gr and 0,1401±0,0505gr. The analysis result done by using statistical test (Anova) showed that the difference was insignificant (P>0,05). Based on the result, given of 20% banana peel extract showed the highest progress among the other groups. The same condition also occurred in ovary condition after being fed with 10% banana peel extract. The conclusion of this research is banana peel extract could be an alternative to change the commercial concentrate food for farm animal.
